PCA Contractor College Accreditation
I’ve received a splendid correspondence from PCA Contractor College regarding the PCA Contractor College Accreditation.
I was informed that I have fulfilled all educational and documentation requirements. Paint Track is now the 109th painting company to receive the PCA Contractor College accreditation in the U.S. In a continued quest to become and remain the best in my field I started the PCA application and documentation process in early 2008. I attended PCA convention in LA and continued by accumulating the required continuing education credits in New Orleans and Arizona in 2009 and 2010 respectively. It has been a long, nonetheless, fulfilling journey. During the subsequent two-year accreditation cycle, our company is required to complete 24 credits to maintain their status as an accredited company.
What is the PCA?
PCA Contractor College is the single educational hub for the professional painting and decorating contractors. It is a resource for all professional painting contractors to learn, share and improve their business skills. I genuinely encourage reputable painting professional colleagues to join PCA and attend the Contractor College for education and learning.
Following is a select sample of the Contractor College courses:
- Decorative finishes workshops
- Chemistry of paint
- Navigating the often-complex OSHA regulations
- Designing an effective safety program
- Recruiting, motivating, and managing the best workforce
- Devising a workable business plan that will guarantee success
- Sales skills training to drive success
- The latest industry technology and technical information
